How to Thank Your Pet Sitter

While tips and gifts are never expected, they are ALWAYS appreciated. Our sitters work very hard and it really puts a smile on our faces when we know we’re appreciated. Here are some tips on how to thank your sitter…

Tipping: Cash is always best. As a rule of thumb, tipping 10-20% is customary in the service industry, however, it’s entirely up to you how much you’d like to give. Please do be sure to clearly label any cash tips!

Gifts: Yes, we would love a gift from your trip or treats for our own pets! Again, gifts are not expected.. but who doesn’t love them?

Other Ways to Thank Your Sitter: 

A simple ‘Thank You’ – Nothing makes us feel better than to hear your satisfaction directly or in a journal/note. Handwritten notes are extra special and tangible. Please also let our supervisor know of your satisfaction!

Make the Visits Easier – Give plenty of advanced notice for visit requests and cancellations. Keep your profile up-to-date and have supplies easily accessible. We appreciate your patience with all our questions too – we just want to make sure the visit is smooth and your pets are 100% satisfied!
